All Recoveries Are Not The Same

This session will touch on Backup & Recovery, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and System Protection strategies and the types of recovery each can provide for IBM i.  The discussion will include examples of failures and the solution available to address each.

Brent Schofield has designed, developed, and implemented solutions on the IBM Power System, iSeries and AS/400 since 1988.  He specializes in automation and administration tools for managing standalone and multi-system environments.  Brent also has experience in implementing VIOS, AIX, Linux, external storage, and Full System Flashcopy Backups on the Power Systems platform for his customers.
